Four ways to wear your favourite scarf

Baby, it’s cold outside! There’s no need to dust off your winter coat just yet – a quality scarf will keep you nice and warm on chilly days. Combining fashion with function, the right scarf brings the finishing touch to your outfit. Whether you prefer a block colour or classic pattern, a few simple knots and twists help you dress up this seasonal staple.

The cross-over

Loop the scarf twice around your neck, and lay two ends in front of your chest. Pull both ends of the scarf and create a knot, then gently flatten the end of the scarf that falls on top of the knot.

The faux snood

This style involves two thin scarves, so you can experiment with using contrasting colours or patterns to make a different look. Hold the single ends of both scarves and twist slightly together so that they merge as one. Double wrap around your neck, placing both ends are at the back. Knot together and conceal the ends within the folds.

The double knot

Fold the scarf in half and create a loop with the folded section. Wrap the scarf around your neck, placing and pulling the ends through the loop. Wrap one end behind and one in front of your neck, then tie these ends together on opposite side of neck for a thick and stylish look.

The pashmina knot

Like the double knot, fold the scarf in half and make a loop with folded section. Wrap the scarf around neck and feed the ends of the scarf through the loop loosely, not pulling too tight. Then loosen the sides of loop and ends of scarf so that it has a thicker, draped appearance.
