Interior blogger Antonia Osswald
How would you describe your personal style and where do you find inspiration?
I like patterns and furniture pieces that tell a story – Scandinavian inspired designs and matte black. This style is reflected in my home, with a handful of pastel coloured items thrown in to mix it up. I tend to spend hours reading numerous interior blogs and Pinterest, which is where I get most of my ideas from. But I also think you can get inspiration every day from your surroundings.
What is one piece of furniture or accessory you cannot live without?
That’s a really tough question, because I really love all my furniture and accessories – it’s so hard to pick just one! That said, I am really attached to my string shelves, especially as they originally belonged to my great-grandparents.
You share your home with many readers on your blog Craftifair.com. What made you start blogging?
Honestly, I just love to share my ideas with other people and to inspire them. It is the greatest compliment to me when a reader uses an idea or a project for his or her own home that they found on my blog.
Speaking of ideas, you do share a lot of DIY projects on your blogs: Where do you get your ideas from and what do you enjoy most about creating these projects?
I often see things that I love and want to have in my home. Rather than always buying them, I think how I could produce the object myself. Which means that not only do I save money, I also create something unique.
What's the first thing you do when you come home?
I find my two cats and then it’s time for lots of stroking.
